David Bishop, MD
Born and raised
in the Vancouver area, I attended undergraduate school at
Linfield College prior to heading to the warmth and charm of
the Deep South where I earned my doctorate at Tulane
University Medical School in New Orleans. From there I went
on to fulfill my post-grad requirements in residency at The
University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, training at the
infamous Parkland Hospital where they quite literally wrote
the book on obstetrics.
In 1991, with a
young and growing family, my wife and I made the decision to
return to our roots in the great Pacific Northwest. I took
a position with Vancouver OB-GYN Group, practicing there for
fourteen years before it joined with The Women's Clinic of
Vancouver.
I love living in
Clark County, enjoying a home in the quiet countryside while
still being only minutes from a lively metropolitan area.
My wife and I have been married for over twenty years now
and have six wonderful children – one girl and five boys –
who fill our lives with lots of noise and happiness.
